New Hope Community Service Center
Serving Since 1992
Our History
New Hope Community Service Center (NHCSC) was incorporated as an Illinois non-for-profit agency on April 9, 1992. To achieve our goals we have diverse partnerships that began with substance abuse treatment and counseling licensed by the Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse within the Illinois Department of Human Services.
For over two decades we have serviced various communities on the South Side of Chicago, We have evolved from just a substance abuse treatment center to a community based outreach center, helping the communities adults, children, and families to improve their life styles by interrupting negative patterns that cause family and community deterioration. These negative patterns include domestic violence, gang violence, sexual exploitation, and drug sales to name a few.
